This is hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made. The fit is snug, lightweight, and amazingly comfortable. I wear them primarily underneath my jeans and sometimes under gym shorts when I'm on a run in chilly mornings. During a recent trip to Chicago I wore them pretty much every day in 30 degree temperature and my legs were kept very warm, and even managed to negate the chilly winds so much so that I only really felt the cold on my uncovered face and sometimes hands. The only time that I wished to have an additional, or thicker, layer was when standing outside at night in 20 degree temperature.

So I highly recommend getting these if you're looking for something to keep you warm at 30 + degrees. Any colder, then your best bet might be the 3.0 pair.

This style is more for me that the very tight other UA leggings. A bit more room! The only caveat is that the material is not as strong as I expected. Don't catch it on anything. I also suggest not putting it in the dryer. It air drys in minutes anyway.

I got these leggings for running in the cold and they work wonders. I did wash them in the washing machine and have put them in the dryer after and were just fine. I also used them for skiing when it was very cold and they worked great

The pants fit and help with warmth, but we are getting the 3.0 level because they could be warmer.
