Great accessory Jan 02, 2011
By Adam M. This product arrived to my door, and upon first look, I had no idea if it'd even come close to fitting. To my surprise, it fit perfectly on my Bushmaster Superlight Carbine. It adds a bit of weight but it feels great and allowed me to mount the bipod and foregrip that I really needed. I would highly recommend this.
A note to others: When you tighten the screws, do not tighten one side tighter than the other. Get the screws started in a diagonal pattern and line up the pieces together and then tighten down afterwards. It is not difficult at all, I did it by myself within 5-10 minutes.

Works well on my 5.56 AR15's Dec 08, 2010
By Rott boy Took 10 mins. to install on a DPMS upper. This quad rail fit my .223/5.56 AR15 with no problems. No grinding or filing needed on any parts. Final result is a tight secure fit. For the money these aluminium rails are worth it. So much so that I removed and installed them on my LMT upper. Again, another trouble-free fit. There are many more expensive alternatives costing 10'xs more but they certainly won't fit 10'xs better. Consider these if you wanna have similar performance at a very affordable price. Amazon's great service and pricing w/ free shipping closed the deal for me.
UPDATE - Sept. 2011: Have since purchased two more UAG sets to install and my other AR carbine builds using DPMS uppers. Continued flawless fit. Let it be noted that I did purchase and try the UTG brand (twice) but had to return one of them. The second order shipped refused to fit (must have had some defect during casting). Once, returned, a full refund (including the cost of return shipping)was issued. Amazon continues to make shopping online more convinient than going to most retail stores.

Excellent Item Feb 03, 2011
By Jason R. Farabaugh
"Buysumtime"
I don't know what happened to the people who didn't give this five stars, but I couldn't imagine giving it anything but that. Fit onto a bushmaster ORC carbine perfectly. Took about five minutes to install. Rock solid once installed, rails line up perfectly. It fit so well I will not hesitate mounting sights on it, which with some two piece handguards is a bad idea due to movement. Not this one, fits perfectly, and without any movement at all. You can spend a lot more, but for marginal improvement. Included rail covers are a nice touch. Once you factor in price, free shipping, and the tremendous quality you get for such little money, five stars all the way for this item!

ONE THING KEPT THIS FROM 5 STAR...THE SCREWS Jan 29, 2012
By Jake
"BIG JAKE"
Well on first sight of this product I was impressed. Then came the installation. It fit perfectly inside ring and it clamps over sight ring. Felt nice cause I'm a big guy and it's a larger diameter grip you little hands wont like it with rubber grips. Then came inserting the screws it came with to finalize the install but wait...the screws are barely grabbing thread once installed and two of the screws wont even grab thread. So I double, triple check my install and there no other option but the screws are just not long enough clearly a product defect. I have a bushmaster and as far as I know thats a good standard style AR-15 but maybe there are other models more common that have smaller sight ring? Even so even the barrel nut side did not grab thread. Other reviews also complained about same issue. One review helped with replacement screw size M4-.7 X 16MM so off to home depot and I found a perfect replacement which was that exact size and it was same style hex and same tool that came with rail worked. Now if you have a home depot the item number is crown bolt brand socket cap screw M4-.7 X 16MM model 82578 and comes 2 pcs for .56 cents a bag thats the home depot in california at least. If somehow you can find 14MM long that probably be perfect but wasn't about to spend all day hunting it down when 16 worked fine just a tad long. So keep in mind this is a nice item well made just no product research on this item they just tossed screws that fit in the threads in the box so most likely you will need to grab some better screws for assured support of this product to hold multiple items on rails. With newly installed screws I now feel confident that I can unload a clip on a bipod mounted to this handguard with no problems or movement. I'm happy with product but at same time the trip to home depot should of never needed to happen so only 3 stars.

Well Made May 13, 2011
By G-Man Please read all of this review, as there are possible solutions (See pics too). First off, I was so very impressed with this quad rail for the price. I am trying to keep prices as low as possible but still use fairly decent parts during my quest to build-up my budget AR. This rail did the trick. I couldn't stop looking at it after installing the rail because it just makes my AR look so sweeeet. This quad rail fit perfectly.
It installs simply by sliding the rear of the rails (2 pieces) into the rear Delta ('D') ring and then the front end is designed to nicely wrap around the handguard cap at the top. Then just alternate as you tighten the 4 provided screws. It is a very nice fit (see my pics). It Even comes with an allen wrench and 2 extra screws in case you ever lose one.
I had hoped the top rail would be even with my existing flat-top rail so that I could mount a riser that spanned across the 2 different rail systems as if they were one. As you can see in my pics, it does in deed. However, the bolts from my riser did not initially align properly between the two different rail systems without a bit of tweaking. So here's a tip to adjust for that. Loosen the 4 screws to the quad rail so it's a little moveable again. Use that mobility to push down a tad on the spring loaded 'D' ring just enough to mount your riser across the two different picatinny rails. Tighten your riser down. Then re-tighten the 4 screws on the quad rail. As you can see in my picture, the riser now spans nicely across the 'D' ring over 2 different rail systems as if they were one.
UPDATE: Since my post above, I've learned a lesson. I was so impressed by the quality vs. price that I had ordered a second of these quad rails for my Colt M4/16 22LR. But, this time the rail I received was of a completely different quality from that of the first one (See pics). The edges were sloppily machined with various gouges and exposed metal. And the finish was an inconsistent shiny black as opposed to the smooth matte finish of the first rail I ordered.
I also compared workmanship side-by-side and the new rail was about 3-4mm longer than the other and the picatinny notch edges were shaped differently (See pics). All of this indicates inconsistent quality control which means what you receive may vary between orders.
I should point out that the first quality rail was ordered from The Global Sportsman and the second (bad) rail came from The American Outdoorsman. Same product and same price, just different vendors. So I wouldn't think this matters, because they are just points of purchase and do not manufacture this UAG Quad Rail. Never-the-less, after returning the poorly made second rail, to be safe I re-ordered my replacement from the first store that delivered the quality rail (The Global Sportsman). We'll see if the better rail was simply a luck of the draw or a better lot.
With every UAG order, it is accompanied by a piece of paper which explains how they are a small family owned/operated business. They provide a number asking to call in order to make things right if ever there is a problem. I called but it was past their hours of operation. I will try again next week, and ask why there are such major inconsistencies in the quality of their manufacturing process.
